Fidelis is thrilled to announce that James VanWagnen has joined the team in the role of Project Engineer.
James is no stranger to Fidelis, having worked closely with the team during his time at American Axle Manufacturing. His passion for problem solving and strong mechanical background make him the perfect addition to our growing organization.
From his bio:
James is a Project Engineer at Fidelis. He works closely with clients on CAE projects spanning many industries and ensures they are completed quickly and with the highest quality. His analytical skills include linear and nonlinear stress analysis, dynamics, fatigue and he is also an expert coder.
With a strong background in engineering and mechanics as well as a diverse range of experiences including vehicle manufacturing, advanced driver-assistance systems, and axle system development, James is an essential member of the Fidelis team. He is also adept at developing standalone analytical tools and reporting.
James earned his undergraduate and master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Wayne State University, specializing in controls. In his free time, he enjoys playing the piano, watching TV, and spending time with friends and family.
