Fidelis is excited to announce that Ian McCarthy has joined the team in the role of Account Manager.
Ian is a man of many talents, combining his expertise in marketing with years of experience managing and selling accounts of Dassault’s SIMULIA brand software. He expects to leverage his large network of engineering contacts to increase Fidelis’ footprint in the CAE/FEA landscape and, ultimately, drive us towards becoming a platinum level Dassault software partner.

Ian holds the position of Account Manager at Fidelis and deeply values the relationships he has with his customers, always going above and beyond to provide excellent service. Ian has a passion for sales and is Dassault Systèmes certified.
While in his previous role Ian began in the marketing department and led the team that oversaw a complete website overhaul. He also gave presentations at the 2017 Dassault Systèmes sales kickoff on the value of marketing and the MSB program.
After migrating to a sales position, Ian sold a variety of softwares under the Dassault portfolio such as Abaqus, Catia, CST, Fe-Safe and the CFD code, X-Flow. He was also an integral part of the team that secured the Platinum partner badge, which is the highest partnership status within the Dassault Value Added Reseller (VAR) program.
Originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan, Ian earned his degree in Marketing from Eastern Michigan University. In his free time, Ian enjoys golfing, watching movies/TV shows and hanging out with friends and family
